Chicago Department of Family Support Services wanted to create awareness before the summer of 2018 to reduce summer violence among youth in the Chicagoland area, specifically in the South and West sides of Chicago.
We know today’s youth communicate through smartphones and emojis have become a way to communicate. We create a series of anti-violence highlighting different risky situations and we called it “Survival Tips”. This ways kids could avoid them or share the graphics with their friends.
We had many people talking, commenting about the posts and at the end of the day the city of chicago got a positive response.
