I created an iconic logo to celebrate the indigenous mezcal culture. The label is screen printed, the lasso is hand placed and a wooden cork brings sophistication. Historically, mezcal was consumed out of a clay pot that had lasso around it. This packaging is artisanal on the inside as well as the outside.
Prolijo™ Mezcal began distribution in Michigan in June of 2018. By December of 2018, Prolijo expanded to Illinois, Florida and Oklahoma. Sales have been increasing rapidly, at over 100% per month and it has become the house mezcal for several bars and restaurants.
